- The Sunday School theme for the month of June is “God’s Story,” and the lesson for next Sunday, June 2, is “God Begins the Story.” Please join us in study at 9:30 am.
- Family Enrichment Week registration continues through July 7. Sign up in the fellowship hall after worship each Sunday. Volunteers are needed to teach, serve as shopkeepers, marketplace workers, and preparation and clean-up crews.
- The David Chapel recreation ministry is looking for persons 16 and above to sign up in the fellowship hall after worship for summer volleyball or basketball. For more information, please contact Deacon Calvin Zanders at czanders@austin.rr.com.
- The Word for You quarterly devotional is available on the table in the foyer. Remember to pick up your copy today.
- Brother Julius Dunlap and family extend thanks to the David Chapel family for support given during this season of bereavement in the loss of his mother. They request our prayers as they move forward.
- Beginning the first Sunday in June, there will be no 8am service on first Sundays. This schedule allows Pastor Parker to preach a sermon to those who normally attend the 8 am service and those who attend the 10:30 am service. Using this process allows him to continue ministering to the whole church through preaching.
- The church office will be closed Monday, May 27, for the Memorial Day holiday observance.
