- The Sunday School theme for the month of August is “God’s Story Continued”, and the lesson for next Sunday, August 25th, is “God Competes the Story.” Please join us in study at 9:30 am.
- David Chapel Family, you don’t want to miss Dream Night as the church enters the planning stage of our Springdale location. This very important vision meeting will be Thursday, August 22, at 6:30 pm.
- Interested in being all you can be? Then Celebrate Recovery is for you. Meetings are 3rd, 4th, and 5th Mondays from 6:30 – 8:30 pm in rooms 4ABC.
- The Spoken Word and Poetry Ministry invites you to join them Friday, August 23, from 7 pm – 10 pm for another evening of praise and self expression at the second Karaoke Night. Come out and enjoy the spoken word, poetry, music, and dance.
- Learn more about David Chapel’s past, present and future through spiritual fellowship and wholesome fun at the Cross-Generational Retreat September 6-7 at T-Bar M in New Braunfels. Remember to sign up in the fellowship hall after worship today.
- Jesus referred to the church as a house of prayer, and you are invited to spend a “Sweet Hour of Prayer” with fellow Christians who understand the power of prayer this Wednesday, August 21, from 6-7 pm. There will be no Wednesday evening Bible for the next two weeks.
- David Chapel members and guests, please join me in welcoming our new member, Rosalyn Daniel.
- September 15 a joint celebration will be held during 10:30 am. The occasion is Senior Adult Day and National Back to Church Sunday. Rev. Charles Singleton of Fort Worth, Texas will be the guest speaker and two of our senior adults will share how church attendance has blessed their life experience. There will be no 8 am worship on September 15th.
