- The Sunday School theme for September 1 – October 6 is “Pressure Points”, and the lesson for next Sunday, September 1, is “The Pressure of Trials,” James 1:1-4. Please join us in study at 9:30 am.
- Fellowship with senior adults, median adults, young adults, and youth as we look at how the past and present blend together to shape the future. Today after worship is the last day to register for wholesome fun, spiritual teaching, and corporate prayer. Sign up for the Cross-Generational Retreat that will take place September 6-7 at T-Bar M Retreat and Conference Center in New Braunfels.
- What a blessing it was last Wednesday as a number of David Chapel members came together and spent a “Sweet Hour of Prayer” with fellow Christians who understand the power of prayer. You have another opportunity to be a part of this time together with each other in God’s presence this Wednesday, August 28, from 7 – 8 pm.
- Please note that there will be no 8 am worship Sunday, September 1 or September 15.
- Senior Adult Day and National Back to Church Sunday will be jointly celebrated September 15 at 10:30 am. Rev. Charlie Singleton, Senior Pastor of First Missionary Baptist Church, Fort Worth, Texas, will be the guest speaker and two of our senior adults will share how church attendance has blessed their life experiences.
- Our next Bible study, Guidance for the Seasons of Life is a reflective look at characters from the Old Testament. This series begins Tuesday, September 3, at 6:45 for TNT in Pflugerville and Wednesday, September 4, at 7 pm here at David Chapel. There will be separate classes for men and women.
- Would you like to learn how to do finances God’s way? Then sign up for the Crown Financial Ministry class that begins Monday, September 9, at 6:30 pm in the portable. You may register in the fellowship hall after worship.
- Attention Senior Choir members: Rehearsal has been rescheduled to Tuesday, August 27, at 7pm. Please mark your calendars and plan to be present.
