Continuing with our First Sunday tradition, there will be no 8am service on Sunday, September 1st. We prayerfully ask those of you who usually attend 8am service to make special arrangements on First Sundays.
Not having the 8am service on First Sundays allows Pastor Parker to minister to the entire congregation and gives an opportunity for him to deliver a message to 8am worshippers who usually do not hear him preach.
Senior Adult Day and National Back to Church Sunday will be jointly celebrated September 15 at 10:30 am. Rev. Charlie Singleton, Senior Pastor of First Missionary Baptist Church, Fort Worth, Texas, will be the guest speaker and two of our senior adults will share how church attendance has blessed their life experiences.
