Announcements 10/20 – 10/26

  • The Sunday School theme through November 17 is “When Relationships Collide,” and next Sunday’s lesson is “Stand Down,“ and the focal scripture passage is Genesis 13:1-18. Please join us in study at 9:30 am.
  • Today was Kick-off date for Children and Youth Worship Service at 10:30 am in the portable. Children and Youth Worship Service is the 3rd and 4th Sundays each month.
  • “Pink Sunday” is set aside each October to remember those who lost the fight against breast cancer, those who are survivors, and those currently in treatment. Thanks David Chapel members and guests! You are looking good in your pink. Women, remember to get your mammogram. Melinda Walker and Donna Jones will be in the fellowship hall after 10:30 am worship with information and commemorative items for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
  • it’s not too late to sign up to be a Cold Weather Shelter Volunteer. For more information, see Charles Walker in the fellowship or contact him by e-mail or phone as displayed on the screen.
  • Missionary Martha Green is requesting toys for Kenya orphans. Join others and help her reach her goal of 1000 “brown” dolls, small trucks and cars, and marbles. Place donations in the box located in the fellowship hall before November 15. Missionary Green will return to Kenya November 18. Thanks for your support. Contact information is on the screen (512-919-4710).
  • October 31 is the date of the Annual Community Fall Festival which will be Celebrated here from 6 pm – 8:30 pm. This community event offers games, music, food, and lots of candy. Its success depends on you. All members are asked to bring candy (no chocolate, please!). See your ministry leader to see what items you are requested to donate. Barrels for donations are in the fellowship hall.
