- The lesson for next Sunday is “Return to Task.” The scripture reading is Acts 13:1-3, 44-52. Please join us in study next Sunday morning at 9:15. All adult classes will study combined in the sanctuary.
- ALL SENIOR ADULTS, on Saturday August 22nd the Platinum Plus Ministry will be going to the Bob Bullock Museum, to observe the African-American History Quilt display. We will have lunch at the museum after the tour. The church van will be available. Please sign up in the Fellowship Hall in you plan to ride the van. The van will leave at 10:00 AM from the church.
- DC please plan to join us for the DC movie night event “War Room”. Saturday, August 29th at 4:00 PM @ Cinemark Tinseltown in Pflugerville. This event is for all DC members and guest. Tickets are available in the fellowship hall after service today. The cost is $ 8.00. There are a limited number of tickets and they will only be available through today. We look forward to seeing you at this event!
- The DC’s Music, Worship and Fine Arts Ministry invite all DC Members of all ages to be a part of our 2016 Citywide Christmas Program (Black Nativity). We are in need of acts, Singers, musicians and technical staff. Auditions will be held Sunday, Aug 30th in the portable following worship service. Sign up for the auditions will be in the Fellowship Hall starting today thru Aug 23rd. Rehearsal will begin in September. For questions please see Rev. Robert Pellette.
