- The Sunday school theme for August 30 is: “Hospitality: How Ordinary People Can Live on Mission.” The scripture passage is Luke 14:12- 24. Please join us in study at 9:15 am.
- The DC War Room movie event in next Saturday, August 29th at 4:00 PM at Cinemark Tinseltown in Pflugerville. If you pre-purchased tickets please stop in the fellowship hall today after worship to pick up your ticket. All discounted tickets are sold out; if you still would like to attend you can purchase full price tickets directly from the theatre or online at Cinemark.com. On the day of the event please plan to arrive early.
- There is Power in Prayer. Pastor Parker will be doing a 5 week series on prayer beginning September 2nd. Join us as we seek how to become Prayer Warriors for our families, Community, church, and the nation. You do not want to miss this powerful session! You may purchase your book after worship in the fellowship Hall starting today. The cost is 8.00.
- The DC’s Music, Worship and Fine Arts Ministry invite all DC Members of all ages to be a part of our 2016 Citywide Christmas Program (Black Nativity). We are in need of acts, Singers, musicians and technical staff. Auditions will be held Sunday, Aug 30th in the portable following worship service. You may sign up for the auditions in the FH for this Sunday. Rehearsals will begin in September. For questions please see Rev. Robert Pellette.
