- The Sunday school theme for the month of Sept 6- Oct 11th is: Stand Strong: Building Your Life on God’s Promises next Sunday’s lesson is “God’s Promise of Faithfulness.” The scripture passage is Psalm 89:1-2, 5-8, and 15-18. Please join us in study at 9:15 am.
- There is Power in Prayer. Pastor Parker will be doing a 5 week series on prayer beginning September 2nd. Join us as we seek how to become Prayer Warriors for our families, Community, church, and the nation. You do not want to miss this powerful session! You may purchase your book after worship in the fellowship Hall today. The cost is $8.00.
- The DC’s Music, Worship and Fine Arts Ministry invite all DC Members of all ages to be a part of our 2016 Citywide Christmas Program (Black Nativity). We are in need of acts, Singers, musicians and technical staff. Auditions will be held today in the portable following worship service. You may sign up for the auditions in the FH for this Sunday. - Attention DC Children and Youth Volunteer Workers: there will be a mandatory CPR Training on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at 8:45 am to 11:00am in the portable. Please plan to attend.

- The church will be closed Monday, September 7th, in observance to Labor Day.
