- Lesson for next Sunday is “Return to Unity.” The scripture reading is Acts 4:31-37. Please join us in study next Sunday morning at 9:15.
- Thank you DC for selecting me as Youth of the Year and for the James E. Obey Sr. Scholarship to support my college education. DC, we received a thank you card from Trevor Deary.
- ALL SENIOR ADULTS, on Saturday August 22, 2015 the Platinum Plus Ministry will be going to the Bob Bullock Museum, to observe the African-American History Quilt display. We will have lunch at the museum after the tour. The church van will be available. Please sign up in the FH in you plan to ride the van. The van will leave at 9:30 AM from the church.
- We are excited and honored to chair the 23rd Pastoral Anniversary for Pastor Parker and Family. We are looking forward to making this a grand occasion to honor such a wonderful man and servant of God. We are in need of volunteers for the different committees. - DC please plan to join us for the DC movie night event “War Room”. Saturday, August 29th at 4:00 PM @ Cinemark Tinseltown in Pflugerville. This event is for all DC members and guest. Tickets are available in the fellowship hall after service today. The cost is $ 8.00. There are a limited number of tickets and they will only be available through August 16th. We look forward to seeing you at this event!
- The DC’s Music, Worship and Fine Arts Ministry invite all DC Members of all ages to be a part of our 2016 Citywide Christmas Program (Black Nativity). We are in need of acts, Singers, musicians and technical staff. Auditions will be held Sunday, Aug 30th in the portable following worship service. Sign up for the auditions will be in the FH starting today thru Aug 23rd. Rehearsal will begin in September. For questions please see Rev. Robert Pellette.
