#TOGODEVERYONEMATTERS Workshop | Concert

The Music Worship and Fine Arts Ministry is proud to present, #ToGodEveryoneMatters, a two-day spirit filled workshop and concert featuring Gaye Arbuckle. This two-day event will continue the mission to commit to sharing the gospel through song, technology, artistic expression and God-centered worship. The workshop will commence with sessions on song, dance and mime led by anointed clinicians.

The final day of the workshop will conclude with a concert featuring Gaye Arbuckle, a National Gospel Recording artist from Dallas, Texas. The concert is free and open to the public.

Meet The Clinicians

 



Gaye Arbuckle

Gaye Arbuckle, an anointed National Gospel Recording artist from Dallas , Texas with an enriched style and talent that leaves you spiritually touched as she ministers in music and song. She is a graduate of Prairie View A&M University (PVAMU) where she served as director/musician for the Baptist Student Union. While attending PVAMU, she won the coveted “Miss. National BSU” and was 3rd runner-up in the “Miss Prairie View Pageant”. Gaye is currently the minister of music of Concord Church in Dallas , Texas where she leads praise and worship on any given Sunday.

Founder and president of the GMWA, the late Reverend James Cleveland in New Orleans , presented her to the gospel world at a very young age. Since that time, she has been a featured soloist on two GMWA albums. A featured soloist on the Mississippi Mass Choir album with the late Rev. James Moore, singing “Have Faith in God ” and on Meeks Record/Pastor Clay Evans project singing “ Oh How Much He Cares ”.

Gaye sang and has appeared in opening 8 performances for Yolanda Adams, Kirk Franklin, Vickie Winans, BeBe and CeCe Winans, Fred Hammond, Dorinda Clarke-Cole, Karen Clarke-Sheard, Kelly Price, Stephen Hurd just to name a few.


Pam Parker

Pam Parker is a motivational speaker, health, wellness and Diet Free Life® coach and founder of Born Again Bodies, a mind, body, spirit organization that promotes health and wellness in churches, in the general public and in underserved communities. However, the undercurrent of her fitness ministry is a love for people, dance and movement.

In fitness, she sits on school health and other wellness advisory committees. She is a praise dance and health and fitness leader. In dance, she has been a guest speaker and choreographer for a number of churches and dance conferences and some years ago – she was a semi-finalist on the nationally syndicated television show called “Dance Fever”, was a guest dancer with the cast from the television series “FAME” and at a special concert with Walter Hawkins.

Pam has been recently selected to be a featured national fitness expert in the Your Wellness Room – Diet Free Life program founded by national nutritionist Robert Ferguson; where she teaches a specialized exercise video for expectant mothers. She has been a fitness speaker and presenter at churches, the Texas State Capitol, for state, local and health organizations, education institutions, at statewide and local events; to include the Austin Urban Music Festival and major gospel artist health-concert tours with Earnest Pugh, Kurt Carr, Shirley Murdock.

Pam is an ordained minister and international dancer leader with the Eagles International Dance Institute, led by Bishop Chris and Dr. Pamela Hardy. She is also a student of Prophetess Que Payne, an international praise dance leader of For His Glory Ministries and a former dance leader for Valley Kingdom and Shekinah Glory Ministries of Chicago, Illinois. She is the ordained minister and Director of Dance at Agape Christian Ministries under Bishop L.A. Wilkerson.

In government and general business, she is a consultant and events marketing professional who has served as a speech-writer, community liaison, a Chief of Staff to many legislators, and a registered lobbyist for the Texas Federation of Teachers to advocate for educational equity. Pam has served as the Coordinator of the Texas Legislative Black Caucus and the Texas Council on Minority Health Affairs. She has also served on the Corporate Events Marketing Team at Dell, with four “Significant Achiever” and eight “On-the-Spot” awards for her event marketing and project management.

Pam is the author of The Sights and Sounds of Worship through Dance and a wellness book called, Mind. Body. Spirit. – A 60-Day Devotional for Health and Wellness. She aspires to help maintain the sanctity of worship in the creative arts and to passionately help as many people as she can live healthy and whole through the gift of nutrition, exercise and dance.


Rev. Courtney Williams, Sr.

Rev. Courtney Williams, Sr. serves as the Minister of Children, Youth, and Young Adult Discipleship, coming over to David Chapel from Greater Union Missionary Baptist Church of Austin, TX, where his father, Dr. Rickey E. Williams is the pastor.

Coming from a military family, Courtney moved from Germany to the states, where the Air Force would land him, along with his parents and brother to what was then Bergstrom Air Force Base in Austin. He is a graduate of Lyndon B. Johnson High School of Austin. Courtney obtained his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Sam Houston State University in 2003 and his Master of Arts in Theological Studies from Liberty University in 2013. He will obtain his Master of Divinity in Pastoral Counseling from Liberty University in the summer of 2015.

In June 2007 Courtney accepted his calling to preach, preaching his first sermon at Greater Union on August 12, 2007 and was ordained on November 5, 2011. Rev. Williams not only preaches, but also has a passion for youth and young adult enrichment and music ministry.

Rev Courtney plays several instruments, such as bass guitar, piano/organ, and percussion. In conjunction with his love for music, he has served as a minister of mime since 2004. He first started dancing in a church men’s praise dance group in 2004. He’s been afforded the opportunity to minister through dance in various venues across the United States, as guest clinician, workshop facilitator, and minister.

Professionally, Courtney has worked as a personal trainer, a middle school basketball coach, and as a national claims trainer and claims representative for a major insurance company.

Reverend Courtney is married to Ranada Williams and they have three beautiful children, Charysh, Courtney Jr, and Calah. When Rev. Williams gets an opportunity to “just be Courtney” he enjoys unwinding with his family, playing games of all varieties and playing basketball.
