- The Sunday School Theme for the month of December 6th through January 17th is: “Priceless: Finding Your Value in God”. Next Sunday’s lesson is “Freed by God’s Forgiveness” The scripture passage is John 8:2-11. Please join us in Study at 9:15 a.m.
- Happy December birthdays to the following David Chapel Senior Adults:
Lorena Griffin, Cecil Reed, Bernice Miller, Shirley Easley, Ora McCormick, and Rosie McCall - Honor or remember a loved one by bringing a poinsettia to help beautify the sanctuary during the holiday season. If you wish to bring poinsettias, Please begin placing them in the sanctuary the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Sunday. Give your name and the names of those whom you honor or remember to either Edith McKinney or Ernestine Hill.
- Tickets are now on sale for the presentation of “The Black Nativity”. The Black Nativity Production will take place on Saturday, December 19, at 1:30 pm and 7 pm, at the Don T. Haynes Theatre at LBJ High School. Make plans to attend this annual production that showcases outstanding actors and singers from across the Austin Area. Please stop by the fellowship hall today to purchase your tickets. Tickets are $ 5.00.
- The iAM Youth Ministry will be hosting a Facilitator Info Session for their Small Group Bible Study that will kick off in 2016. The Facilitator Info Session is scheduled for this Sunday following Worship Service in Room 4ABC. We are looking for seasoned saints, adults, and young adult co-facilitators to help us to become disciples who make disciples! For more information, please see Keith Overton-Hadnot. - We need ALL David Chapel MWFA members and interested non- members to register for the upcoming workshop that will take place on the evening of Friday, January 15, 2016 and Saturday, January 16, 2016. The registration fee is $20.00 for adults and $10.00 for children (12 and under). This covers your registration, workshop T-shirt, and lunch. You may register online at DavidChapel.org or in person. Please bring your registration fee if you are choosing to do in-person registration. National Recording Artist Gaye Arbuckle, Pam Parker and our very own Reverend Courtney Williams will serve as our featured clinician. The DEADLINE to register is Sunday, January 3, 2016.
- The nursery will be closed during Sunday Worship, starting December 13th to 27th. And will reopen January 3th, 2016.
