- The Sunday School theme is “Priceless: Finding Value in God,” and the lesson for Sunday, January 17, is “Cherished in God’s Eyes.” Scripture reference is Psalm 8:1-8. Combined adult classes will meet in the sanctuary. All David Chapel members are invited to study with us each Sunday at 9:15 am.
- Attention: All requests for space in the fellowship hall after worship to sign up, make purchases, or distribute information must be submitted to office staff no later than 5 pm the Wednesday before the activity. Thanks for your cooperation!
- Those interested in serving as a Bible teacher or facilitator, please sign up in the fellowship hall after worship today and next Sunday. The first session begins Saturday, January 23, from 9:30 am – 12 noon.
- The registration deadline for volunteering as a first responder is today. Please call one of the numbers displayed on the screen if you are interested.
- Join the MWFA Ministry for the “Everyone Matters to God” Concert at 6 pm Saturday, January 16 here in the sanctuary. Gaye Arbuckle, national recording artist of Dallas, Texas is the featured guest.
- The Men’s Ministry hosts its first quarterly breakfast Saturday, January 23, from 9 am -12 noon, in the fellowship hall. Invite a guest, and children are welcome. A $5 donation is requested of those 12 years and older. Please sign up in the fellowship hall after worship today through next Sunday.
- The 2016 theme for the WEM, aka, “Divinely Inspired Virtuous Anointed Sisters” or DIVAS, is “The Power in a Praying Woman.” Quadrant and Community Bible Study will be held on Tuesdays, beginning February 9, at 10 am at David Chapel for Community Bible Study and 7 pm for Quadrant Bible Study in host homes. Registration and book purchases may be made Sundays through February 7 in the fellowship hall after morning worship. Contact Sisters Lois Hunt or Coletta Haskin for more information.
- Sunday, January 31, is the final day to sign up for Affordable Health Care. Information brochures are available in the display case in the fellowship hall.
