- The Sunday School theme through April 10 is More Than Enough: How Jesus Meets Our Deepest Needs. Next Sunday’s lesson is “Our Need for Protection,” and the scripture is John 10:7-15, 27-30. David Chapel members and guests are invited to study with us each Sunday at 9:15 am.
- The church received thank you cards from the family of Edna Jones, grandmother of Sis. Sharron Bracken.
- In addition to the printed birthday wishes in the March Pulse, we want to celebrate the senior adults born in the month of March – Jesse Mercer (6th), Rosalee Martin (10th ), Lois Hunt (11th), Barbara Coursey (12th), Mary Dallas (20th ), and Arthur “Pete” Johnson (24th). Happy birthday!
- The Marriage Enrichment Ministry invites married couples to join them today at 1:30 pm for a luncheon at Texas Land and Cattle (6007 I-35N). The cost is $19.99/person. Don’t mis the opportunity to share lively discussion of topics from the recent B.O.M.B. conference.
- The Welcome Ministries Annual is next Sunday, March 20, with Dr. Mark Washington, pastor of Vision of Hope Baptist Church, as guest speaker. The theme is “Totally Committed to Serving.”
- Discover who God made you to be. Perhaps you are still wondering what those gifts are, and you need help identifying new ways in which God has personally shaped you. Walk through your shape profile and discover your shape, March 19 from 9 am – 12 pm. Visit the S.H.A.P.E. ministry table in the fellowship hall after worship today.
- The NURSERY (age 1 year to 5th grade) will be CLOSED during Sunday worship, March 27, 2016, and will reopen April 3, 2016.
- April 16 is the date of the Annual Church Picnic, which will be held at Givens Park. Please sign up in the fellowship hall to bring the designated item for the ministry in which you serve.
- The Women’s Enrichment Ministry DIVAS are asked to bring new or gently used women’s business apparel and/or appropriate accessories. Boxes will be provided in the fellowship hall.
- Join the DC Senior Adults for a Good Friday service on Friday, March 25, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. at the Frank Erwin Center. Tickets are free and available at the door. Please sign up in the Fellowship Hall immediately after worship, if you plan to ride the church van. Don’t miss this memorable event as we celebrate the risen Savior!
