- The Sunday School theme for March 6 – April 10 is More Than Enough: How Jesus Meets OurDeepest Needs. Next Sunday’s lesson is “Our Need for Direction,” and the scripturereference is John 8:12-19. David Chapel members and guests are invited to study with us eachSunday at 9:15 am.
- The church received thank you cards from Brother Robert and Sis. Eunice Ransburg, Sisters EmilyThompson and Olivia Ussery.
- Mission 1 will meet Monday, March 7, at 6 pm in the fellowship hall. Chapter 10, “Resting in Beauty,Harmony, and Peace” is our lesson this month. We will celebrate January – March birthdays at the end of the meeting.
- The Quarterly Women’s Ministry Prayer Breakfast is Saturday, March 12, from 9 am – 12 pm in the fellowship hall. Register in the fellowship hall after worship today. Please view other women’s activities in the Pulse.
- Married couples, the Marriage Enrichment invites you to join them Sunday, March 13, at 1:30 pm for a luncheon at Texas Land and Cattle Restaurant (6007 I-35 N). Cost is $19.99/person. Don’t miss the opportunity to share lively discussions of topics from the recent B.O.M.B. conference. Seethe Griffins, Cuthrells, or the Haskins for reservations.
- Discover who God made you to be. Perhaps you are still wondering what those gifts are, and you need help identifying new ways in which God has personally shaped you. Saturday, March 19, from 9 am – 12 pm. Walk through your shape profile and discover your shape. To register, visit the S.H.A.P.E. ministry table in the fellowship hall.
- The iAM Ministry is sponsoring a PS4 Tournament, primarily for boys, Saturday, March 12, from 6 -9:30 pm in the fellowship hall. Players 18 and under are invited to participate.
- Additionally, the iAM ministry is sponsoring a Mall Scavenger Hunt, primarily for girls, will be held from 6 -9 pm at Barton Creek Mall.
- Help beautify the sanctuary as we celebrate Resurrection Sunday. Bring a lily to place in the sanctuary March 6-13 in honor or memory of a loved one. Submit the name of the loved one to either Sister Ernestine Hill or Sister Edith McKinney by March 23.
- March 7-11 is the National Week of Prayer for the Healing of Aids. An hour of prayer and praise will be held each day at New Hope Baptist Church from 12 noon until 1 pm. March 7 at E.M. Franklin Chapel of St. James Baptist Church, there will be a dramatic production at 7pm.
