- The Sunday School theme through May 22 is Beauty from Ashes: Redeeming Your Broken Moments. Next Sunday’s lesson is “Redeemed from an Unbelieving Past,” and the scripture is Acts 26:9-20. David Chapel members and guests are invited to join us in study each Sunday at 9:15 am.

- Seniors with a Goal or SWAG, ” are invited to attend a workshop Tuesday, May 17, from 9 am – 1:00 pm at Conley-Guerro Center. The Links will provide valuable information on financial awareness, health and wellness, family caregiving, benefits, and AARP! Admission is free! Don’t miss this great opportunity for senior adults.
- The F.E.W. Committee needs teachers for the nursery through adult plus volunteers in other areas. You may register your family as well. Please stop by the F.E.W. table in the fellowship hall to sign up after worship. Contact Vedia Miles for more information.
- Today is the deadline for senior adults to sign up and pay for the Senior Adult Ministry, aka, Platinum Plus megabus trip to San Antonio, Saturday, May 21. Go to the fellowship if you want to join them. More details are available at the table.
- Calling all couples: The Marriage Enrichment Ministry invites you to meet them here Friday, May 27, in the fellowship hall from 7 – 9 pm. Please bring your workbooks for lively discussions about “The Laws of Possession and Purity. - Wanted: Donations of diapers for babies, toddlers, and seniors through May, 31, which ends the Austin Diaper Bank’s Annual Drive. Place your donations in the marked play pen in the fellowship hall.
- The Children’s Ministry will travel to Kemah, TX for a Day of Fun, Saturday, July 16, 2016, from 7:30 am – 8:30 pm. Siblings and interested parents are welcome to attend and serve as chaperons. The entry fee is$16.99 .Additional money is needed for lunch, dinner, gifts and souvenirs. Enjoy “thrill” rides, interesting exhibits, and arcades at the Kemah Boardwalk!
