- The Sunday school theme for June 5 – July 10 is Transformed: My Life in God’s Kingdom. The lesson is “Transformed in my Worship” with Matthew 6:1-8, and 16-18 as the scripture. David Chapel members and guests are invited to join us in study each Sunday at 9:15 am.
- Children, Youth, and Young Adults Annual is June 10-12. Family Fun Night is Friday, June 10, at the Millenium. The Academic and Scholarship Award Banquet is Saturday, June 11, at Ebenezer Family Life Center at 6:30 pm. Rev. Toddrick Johnson, Pastor of Paradise Baptist Church in Houston, Texas will be the guest speaker at Sunday Worship.
- Wanted: Donations of diapers for babies, toddlers, and seniors through May, 31, which closes the Austin Diaper Bank’s Annual Drive. Place your donations in the marked play pen in the fellowship hall.
- Discover who God made you to be by taking the S.H.A.P.E. assessment. To attend a class, signup is required, and at that time you will receive the necessary materials.
- David Chapel DIVAS are partnering with Family Eldercare to assist those in need of a fan to help provide some relief from the searing Texas heat. Today marks the kick off of the family fan drive. Fans and donations accepted each Sunday through June 26. All donations are tax deductible.
- The Children’s Ministry will travel to Kemah, TX for a Day of Fun, Saturday, July 16, 2016, from 7:30 am – 8:30 pm. Siblings and interested parents are welcomed to attend and serve as chaperons. $16.99, the entry fee for all attendees, does not cover lunch, dinner, gifts and souvenirs. Enjoy “thrill” rides, interesting exhibits, and arcades at the Kemah Boardwalk!
- Infant and Pre-school Ministry needs your help! Volunteers needed to help set up/run/ and break down our Scholastic Book Fair, June 12-16, 2016. See Tashia Coleman and Shalane Sheppard in the Fellowship Hall to sign up!
- Pick up the Word for You Today devotionals in the foyer after worship today.
