- The Sunday school theme is Transformed: My Life in God’s Kingdom, and the lesson is “Transformed in My Plans,” with Matthew 6:25-34 as the scripture. David Chapel members and guests are invited to study with us at 9:15 a.m.
- Pastor Parker and David Chapel received a thank you card from Goodwill Baptist Church in Brenham expressing appreciation for our donation towards their flood loss.
- Reminder Parents, Youth Small Group Bible Study will begin this week. Our curriculum – Making Disciples- and other pertinent information can be accessed on the David Chapel website . See Keith Overton-Hadnot or Kathryn Freeman for questions.
- David Chapel is excited to announce this summer’s volley ball events. Interested members are invited to sign up on 6/19 or 6/26 in the fellowship hall after service. The season starts on June 27, 2016.
- David Chapel DIVAS are partnering with Family Eldercare to assist those in need of a fan to help provide some relief from the Texas heat. Fans and donations will be accepted each Sunday through June 26. All donations are tax deductible.
- The Scholastic Book Fair is available only online through July 1. Teachers, can buy two books and get one free. You can type in Google “Scholastic Book Fair” and enter zip code 78702. Look for David Chapel to place your order.
- Do you have a business you would like to see promoted here at DC? The WEM is hosting a time for Women and Girls to shop for jewelry, make-up, and you get to relax with yoga, manicures, and massages, on Friday July 15, here at DC from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. To list your business and sign- up, see the DIVAS table in the fellowship hall after service today!
