- The Sunday school theme is Transformed: My Life in God’s Kingdom and the lesson is “Transformed in My Actions,” with Matthew 2:1-12 as the scripture. David Chapel members and guests are invited to study with us at 9:15 a m each Sunday.
- Pastor Parker and David Chapel family received a thank you card from the Texas Baptist Hunger Foundation. Your continued support feeds hungry people, and helps them to escape poverty. We thank you for your continued support. You can view their mission online at HungerOffering.org God Bless You!
- David Chapel is excited to announce this summer’s volley ball events. Interested members are encouraged to sign up in the fellowship hall today after service. The season starts tomorrow, June 27th 2016.
- Thank you, DC members for partnering with Family Eldercare this summer with the Fan Drive. Today marks the last day we will be collecting fans. Remember all donations are tax deductible.
- The Scholastic Book Fair is still available online through July 1. Teachers, can buy two books and get one free. You can type in Google “Scholastic Book Fair” and enter zip code 78702. Look for David Chapel to place your order.
- Do you have a business you would like to see promoted here at DC? The WEM is hosting a time for Women and Girls to shop for jewelry, make-up, and to relax with yoga, manicures, and massages on Friday, July 15, here at DC from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. To list your business and sign-up, see the DIVAS table in the fellowship hall after service today!
