- There will be no Sunday School next Sunday, July 24; however, worship service will be at 8 am; and afterward, those who desire may attend joint worship with Austin and vicinity churches at the St. John Tabernacle, 7501 Blessing Avenue.
- David Chapel received Thank You Messages from the family of Frank Ellison (wife, Charlotte), and Kyle Overton who expressed appreciation for love, compassion and powerful prayers.
- The Women’s Enrichment Ministry thanks all who contribute to the 2016 Divas Fan Drive. Your support provided 16 fans and $760 in funds for the elderly, disabled and families with young children.
- David Chapel family, the 24th Pastoral Appreciation is just around the corner, October 9-11. Please help with the planning. please see Deacon Gregory and his wife Charlene today after service.
- Today is the last day for the sale of Men’s camp shirts with the church logo. Please see one of the men in the fellowship hall after worship.
- The Youth ministry will implement the “iAM a Mentor” program soon. We are asking all David Chapel members, career professionals, entrepreneurs, military personnel (active or retired), and others — to mentor our youth for a day and spend time together. We want to expose our youth to various career fields. Please see someone at the youth ministry table today in the fellowship hall to complete a survey.
- ATTN: TODAY, from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m., BOMB/Marriage Enrichment Ministry will meet in the portable, have lunch, followed with study sessions 4 and 5: “A Woman’s Needs” and “A Man’s Needs.” Please, bring your Small Group Study Guide Booklet.
- Save the Date! An appreciation luncheon for volunteers in the Nursery Ministry is scheduled August 6 from noon until 2 pm in the DC Fellowship Hall.
- Thursday, July 21, is “Ushers Night” at St. John Tabernacle. Ushers and Greeters, please plan to be present.
- The i-AM Youth Ministry is having a day of spiritual leadership, fun games, snacks, and outdoor activities, such as CROSSfit with Austin’s Fellowship of Christian Athletes. This event will be Saturday, July 23, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at Auditorium Shores. See Keith Overton- Hadnot if you have any questions.
- David Chapel Worship Service for Sunday, July 24, will be at 8:00 a.m. In support of John District Association, we will attend the joint Worship Service at 10:45 a.m. The location is 7501 Blessing Avenue.
- During the month of July, please donate backpacks, socks, and underwear to Missionary Martha Green for children at Christian Hands Home in Kenya. Please place all donations in the container in the fellowship hall.
