- The Sunday school lesson for next Sunday is: “God’s Word Fills My Heart,” (Psalm 119:9-11). David Chapel members and guests are invited to study with us at 9:15 am.

- Black Nativity, a City-wide production, presented by David Chapel’s Music, Worship and Fine Arts Ministry Saturday, December 17, 2016 with Performance times: 1:30 pm & 7:00 pm. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased online and every Sunday after worship.
- Do you know what your Spiritual Gifts are? Are you a DC ministry/auxiliary leader and you have not taken SHAPE? No worries, sign-up today for the last SHAPE class for the year, Sunday, December 11, 2016. Please see a SHAPE coordinator in the fellowship hall after worship to pick up your pre-class assignment & for more information.
- Mission One will host their “Christmas Bash” Monday, December 5, 2016, from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm in the fellowship hall. All DC Divas are invited to attend.
- The Women’s Enrichment Ministry DIVAS invites all David Chapel members to “A Christmas Masquerade Party,” a church-wide event Saturday, December 10th from 6 – 9 pm at David Chapel. Sign-up for this activity is required; this includes all children and adults.
- Infant and Pre-School will be closed for the month of December and will resume first Sunday in January 2017.
- It’s that time again! Each year David Chapel helps beautify the sanctuary for Christmas by bringing poinsettias in honor or memory of a loved one. If you wish to bring poinsettias, please purchase them and place them in the sanctuary on the first, second and third Sundays in December. Please submit the name of the person you’re honoring to Sis. Edith McKinney at 512-926-9133 or Sis. Ernestine Hill at 512-926-0441 no later than Monday, December 19th.
- Merry Christmas, Pastoral Family. “Love Offering” envelopes have been placed in the back of pews and will be available throughout the month. Please use these special envelopes for holiday expressions to Pastor Parker and family. PLEASE make all checks payable to Joseph C. Parker, Jr.
- “The Word for you Today” devotionals is now available. For those who did not pick up a devotional, please pick up your copy from the table in the front of the church.
- Ministry and Auxiliary leaders, please be reminded to review the online church calendar for the remainder of the year for any changes or updates you might have and submit your edits and/or cancellations to the church office immediately.
