- The next Sunday school lesson for March 26th is “Victorious Faith” (Hebrews 11:1-3). David Chapel members and guests are invited to study with us at 9:15 a.m.
- David Chapel members and guest, please join us next Sunday, March 26, 2017, as we celebrate our Welcome Ministries annual. The Theme is “A Welcome Ministry of Gracious and Godly Servants” (Colossians 4:2, 5-6). Our guest preacher will be Rev. Dr. B. W. McClendon of St. James Missionary Baptist Church, Austin, TX.
- REMINDER: The Women’s Enrichment Ministry quadrant/community Bible study begins Tuesday, March 21. Please register and purchase your books today in the fellowship hall after worship. The cost is $20. For more information, please see Lois Hunt and or Coletta Haskin.
- The Infant and Preschool ministry is now accepting CANDY donations for the annual Resurrection Egg Hunt through April 9th. Please place generous candy donations in the designated box in the fellowship hall. Please, NO chocolate candy. Thank you for your support.
- The St John Senior Mission annual Spring Banquet will be held Friday, April 7th at 7:00 p m at the Embassy Suites Austin Central. This year’s honorees are “Sunday School Teachers” who have been teaching for five years or more. Tickets are $35.00 through April 2nd. - Save the Dates for the following Senior Adult “Platinum Plus” Outings. Good Friday Service at the Frank Erwin Center, featuring Kirk Franklin, April 14th at 6:00 pm. This is a FREE event. - The Infant and Preschool ministry will host its annual Community Resurrection Egg Hunt Saturday, April 15, 2017, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm in the park behind the George Washington Carver Museum. This event is open to the community and for infant’s age one year to children in the fifth grade.
- David Chapel members and guests, you’re invited to help us celebrate the 93rd Church Anniversary for Sunday, April 23, 2017 at 10:30 am. Please join us for the annual church picnic, Saturday, April 22, 2017, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Givens Park. We look forward to seeing you there!
