- We wish ALL men present in worship a Happy Father’s Day.
- The Sunday school lesson for June 24th is: “Why Did Jesus Come?” (Luke 1:68-69). Join us for study at 9:15 am.
- Pastor Parker and David Chapel members, the family of Sis. Doris Mack thanks you for your prayers and for the home-going celebration. We will hold in grateful remembrance your kind expression of sympathy; Mary Dallas, Nancy, Donald, and Tashia Coleman.
- The office will be closed Tuesday, June 19th, in observance of Juneteenth Holiday.
- Members and guests, join us for the next session of the Bible study series with Pastor Parker, Wednesday, June 20th at 7:00 pm. All are welcome.
- Attention all men, you are invited to join for the Men’s breakfast scheduled for Saturday, June 23rd, at 9:00 am. For more information, please see Deacon Nick Gibson.
- DC Women’s ministry collaborative “fan drive” goes through June 30th. You may purchase a fan & bring it the church or donate increments of $15 to Jakki Dozier. Donations are tax deductible.
- The iAM ministry celebrates their annual weekend July 6th-8th. Activities includes: Dinner at church, Peter Pan Putt Putt, and a free Lock-in on Friday, July 6th, (SIGN-UP is required), a banquet has been planned for Saturday, July 7th and tickets are available for $10 per person. For more information, please visit the table in the fellowship hall after worship.
- The senior adult and women’s ministries have partnered together for a community service project, at the Central Texas Food Bank. Sign-up available in the fellowship hall following worship.
- The women’s ministry has begun taking registration for the “Desperate for Jesus Conference.” For more information stop by the table in the fellowship hall.
- David Chapel members, “A DC Website Ministry is being established and skilled volunteers are needed. The primary responsibilities will include assisting with keeping the website updated. A table for persons to sign-up will be in the fellowship and/or you can provide your name and contact information to Diana Michael-Sonko at (dmichael@davidchapel.org) in the church office. Thank you for your interest and willingness to serve in this capacity.”
