  1. The Sunday School theme for July 22nd through August 26th is “Nehemiah Building a Life of Service.” The lesson for July 29th is: “Plan.” (Nehemiah 2:1-8, 17-18). Join us for study at 9:15 am.
  2. The iAM ministry will be collecting schools supplies through August 31st. Please place your donated supplies in the designated container in the fellowship hall.  For more information, please contact Rev. Ryan Sutton.
  3. Please join us for Bible study with Pastor Parker, Wednesday, July 25th, at 7:00pm. The lesson is “Liberty or Leaglism.” All are welcome.
  4. Please join the MWFA Ministry for a night of bowling and fellowship at Highland Lanes on Saturday, September 29th from 1-3 pm. The cost is $15 per person which includes bowling and shoe rental. Sign up will be available August 19th to September 16th in the fellowship hall. For more information, please contact Michael Jordan.
  5. David Chapel’s Health & Wellness Ministry in partnership with Austin Public Health presents “Healthy Living; Learn how to manage type 2 diabetes,” with topics to include healthy eating, active living and controlling stress. Classes are held August 18 through September 22, from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm. For more information, please see Rev. Barnetta Emerson.
  6. COMMUNITY NEWS: The Austin Police Department would like to invite YOU, the citizens of Austin to join us Wednesday, August 1 thru Saturday, August 4, 2018 for the 3rd Annual I.C.A.R.E Community Conference. Offering this essential training to the public educates our community on building positive and trusting relationships of honesty and respect between the citizens and law enforcement. The conference is FREE TO THE PUBLIC, but you MUST REGISTER to attend. The I.C.A.R.E Community Conference will offer educational & interactive sessions to the public.  To register, you may also visit www.oclcorp.org and for more information. Flyers are also posted in the back hallway.
