You are invited to participate in our Taste of DC: Men Who Cook, Sunday March 10th after Worship! Come sample delicious food dishes created by our DC men. Proceeds from this fundraiser will benefit the iAM Youth Ministry, Youth leadership retreat, cultural events and mission driven opportunities.
“We’re trying to do things with the Youth Ministry to enrich their lives,” said Robert Pellette. “The entire congregation and the community is invited. We want to make sure everyone gets their tickets so they can participate. The fellowship hall will be transformed into a tasting area where participants will have their food areas set up. Once you are admitted, you will be able to sample all of the items the men have cooked.”

Prizes will be awarded for Best Meat, Main course, side dish and dessert! Tickets are $10 each and can be purchased at church services on Sunday March 3, Wednesday night March 6, and on the day of the event on March 10. For more information, please contact Pellette or Rev. “Rev. Sutton is the braintrust behind the iAM Youth Ministry,” Pellette said. “He’s trying to get the youth to do bigger and greater things. He’s also going to have a dish at Men Who Cook.”
