Members and guests, On Sunday, June 30th, and fifth Sundays each month, special emphasis will be placed on building fund giving.

The Church received a thank you card from Tommie & Crystal Jones, expressing their thanks during their bereavement.

Join us for Sunday school at 9:15 am. The lesson for June 23rd is: “Abigail: Intervening Faith” (1 Samuel 25:2-3,14-17,23-28,32-35) from the theme: “Living by Faith: Women Who Trusted God”.

David Chapel, it’s time for this church with a “heart for the community” to get out into the community and share Christ with our neighbors! Join the Evangelism Team in July for the launching of our church-wide Evangelism training. All members are encouraged to join this training and learn techniques for sharing your faith without fear! There are multiple training opportunities and sign up starts TODAY in the fellowship hall following worship.

The 2019 Student Annual Weekend is June 28th – 30th.  The theme is: “iAM The Mixtape!” On Friday there will be “Mixing Gifts: Talent Showcase” and we are looking for children, youth, and young adults to sign-up to showcase the talent that God has blessed you with.  Friday night will also be a Youth Lock-In. Saturday there will be a Young Adult Pool Party and the student annual banquet will be at 5:30pm. For Sunday service, the guest preacher will be Pastor Joshua Daniels of Freedom Worship Assembly in Houston, TX.

The women’s ministry hosts the annual “fan drive” through June. Please purchase a box fan, oscillating fan or make monetary donations of $15 through the end of June. For more information, please see or contact Sis. Jakki Dozier.

Wednesday night Prayer & Praise and Bible study will be “on break” for a few weeks. Wednesday Night Service will resume on July 10th and the next Bible study series will begin July 17th.

Join Pastor Parker on a 2021 trip to the Holy Land with an option to travel to Egypt, with plenty of time to pay. Pick up a brochure in foyer or visit the church website.

The Church office will be closed on Wednesday, June 19th in celebration of Juneteenth.
