- DC members and choir members, Pastor Parker’s preaching engagement at 3:00 p.m. today has been cancelled. All members and the choir may disregard the previous invitation. Pastor Parker would like to thank the members and choir for their planned support!
- David Chapel will worship early Sunday, July 28, at 8:00 a.m. There will be no Sunday school. Guests and members are all invited to worship at 10:30 for the closing session of the St. John Regular Baptist District Association at the St. John Tabernacle, 7501 Blessing Avenue. At that same location at 7pm next Sunday, Pastor Parker will be preaching at the Men in Black service. All men are invited to attend the service and participate in the parade.
- A message from our Evangelism Team! We are all called to share the Gospel and make disciples, but many Christians don’t know how. Join us at 9:15am each Sunday during the month of August as we launch our 4-week evangelism training called “Fearless Evangelism!” This training will feature seven different approaches to evangelism and help you learn how to share your faith fearlessly. Registration cards have been placed throughout the sanctuary behind the offering envelopes for your convenience. Please complete the cards and drop them off in the designated boxes on your way out. The training starts Sunday, August 4, at 9:15 a.m.
- On Wednesday, July 31st, Pastor Parker is preaching at the Missionary Baptist General Convention of Texas State Congress at 7:00 p.m. The service will take place at St. James Missionary Baptist Church, 3417 E Martin Luther King Jr Blvd. in Austin. All members and guests are invited to attend.

- The steering committee for the 27th Pastoral Appreciation is making preparations.
