Until at least May 1st, we are under State of Texas and City of Austin mandatory orders to not gather in groups of more than ten and to engage in healthy, personal hygiene, safety and healthcare visitation practices ordered by local, state and national health professionals. In accordance with these orders:
- All DC on-campus activities are suspended; and,
- Our church anniversary special celebration next month is cancelled.
However, our deacons remain available to minister to you and I will begin weekly communications to all members, guests, and friends. Please recognize that my phone calls will be coming from 866-665-4386.
In addition, on Sunday mornings during this time, we will be live streaming worship from our sanctuary with only the necessary and essential staff support. No one else will be permitted in the building, so please do not come to our campus during this time. You will be able to watch the services on YouTube Live, Facebook Live, and Instagram. As you watch the service, “say amen.” Stand in your homes and sing along. Engage as you would if we were worshiping together.
This coming Sunday at 10:00 a.m., go online and watch our worship service on “Be Cheerful after the Evacuation” (Exodus 15:1-21).
Instructions on how to live stream will be on our website no later than Saturday evening. Our live-streamed services will be archived and available to you through our website “on-demand,” so that you can access them at your convenience. Complimentary DVDs/CDs can be requested through the church office for those members who are not able to access these services through our live streaming or through YouTube, Facebook or Instagram. Email your prayer requests to info@davidchapel.org in advance of our Sunday service. Your non-confidential requests will be forwarded to our small D(iscipleship) Groups.

In the midst of our time away from each other, I want to remind us of our three (3) pillars that we should use to prayerfully sustain one another and ourselves during this season of shared sacrifice and health risk: 1) connect; 2) care; and 3) cultivate, even though we must now do these remotely. Indeed, God is calling us again to live in the supernatural-Holy Spirit formed fellowship of koinonia (Acts 2:44-47; Philippians 1:5-11; 3:10; 4:14-15;2 Cor. 8:1-7; Galatians 5:22-23): community, sharing grace, compassion, suffering, and financial resources.

- Zoom Video
- Loom
- Google Hangouts
- Skype Video Chats
Finally, as we continue to minister, serve and communicate with you during this season, we are depending on your faithfulness in regularly giving your tithes and offerings. You can mail them to the church (2211 E. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd, Austin, 78702-1343), pay through Push Pay, online through our church website, or drop it off in the mailbox on the MLK side of the building.
