- This month we are Celebrating “Black History Month!”
- Beginning this week, all David Chapel members and guests 18 and above are welcome to participate in a Disciple Group referred to as “D-Group.” See a Men’s or Women’s Ministry leader in the fellowship hall after worship to purchase your book ”Discipleship: Training from the Master Disciple Maker.” Books are $10 each. Visit www.davidchapel.org/dgroups for more information and session dates.
- Marriage Enrichment Ministry: During your time of fasting and prayer the we ask you to pick up a booklet, “30 days of Prayer for your Marriage.” Please use this booklet as you take time to pray together with your spouse. A limited number of books remain, please take one book per couple. See Deacon Robert and Markla Hall in the fellowship hall after church today.
- Join the Women’s Enrichment Ministry Kick-Off Event, Saturday, February 22, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sign up today and next Sunday after worship in the fellowship hall. This year’s theme is: “Making Dynamic Disciples.” The attire is “African or Red, Black, and Green.”
- The Women’s Enrichment Ministry will be helping our neighbors experiencing homelessness by providing emergency kits containing food and clothing. These kits will contain portable foods, clothing and personal items recommended by national homelessness experts. The primary focus will be neighbors who come to the church on Sundays but can be provided at other times. They will also be shared as available, with the Lois M. Upton: Cold Weather Shelter and Under the Bridge Ministries. We invite you to stop by the table in the fellowship hall for more information and to see how you can help.
- “Where Scriptures Come Alive.” Join Pastor Parker in The Holy Land in 2021. The tour is February 23 – March 4, 2021. See the registration form and brochure available on the table in the foyer and on the church website for more information. Make your deposit today and set up a payment installment plan.
- Save the Date: Friday, April 24, 2020 for the upcoming Relay for Life / East Austin and our participating DC Walking Disciples. More information will be forthcoming.
