  3. MISSION MEMBERS: Please mark your calendars for the mission meeting on Monday, March 2nd in the fellowship hall. 
  4. Attention all adults, the March Primary elections will be held Tuesday, March 3, 2020. Remember, every VOTE really does count! You are encouraged to exercise your right to vote.
  5. The Women’s Enrichment Ministry is helping our neighbors who are experiencing homelessness by providing emergency kits containing food and clothing. Items will also be made available to share with the Lois M. Upton: Cold Weather Shelter and Under the Bridge Ministries. We invite you to stop by the table in the fellowship hall for more information and to see how you can help.

  7. SAVE THE DATE-March 29th. Do you enjoy cooking? Are you known for your culinary skills? If you said yes, we invite you to participate in Men Who Cook 2020! Donations from this activity will support the iAM youth Ministry, youth leadership retreat, monthly discipleship activities and mission-driven goals. Prizes will be awarded for Best Meat, Main course, side-dish and dessert! For more information and to sign up as a contestant, please contact or see Rev. Robert Pellette or Rev. Ryan Sutton.   9. Guests, you are welcome to pick up a copy of our DC March monthly Pulse Publication newsletter. Copies are available after worship in the foyer. Members please access your email copy or checkout the DC website.
  10. “Where Scriptures Come Alive.” Join Pastor Parker in The Holy Land in 2021. The tour is February 23 – March 4, 2021. Pick up a registration form and brochure available on the table in the foyer and on the church website for more information. Deposits and payment installments are still being accepted.
  11. Relay for Life: all participants, survivors included, are asked to register either online or pick up a form from Sis. Nancy Johnson or Sis. Diana Sonko.  Donations are being accepted now and up to the day of the relay and support the American Cancer Society. The “Survivor’s Dinner” will be held April 23, 2020, @ 6 PM, at Mt Zion Baptist Church. T-shirts are free to survivors but you must register to ensure your size is correct.  Donations of $100.00 will receive a Hope t-shirt. Donate soon to ensure that you’ll have your shirt before the relay. Thank you in advance for your continued support of the D. C. Walking Disciples and the American Cancer Society.
