- The Sunday school theme for the month of Apr 26- May 31 is: Like Glue: Making Your Relationships Stick, next Sunday’s lesson is “Stick with Love” The scripture passage is John 15: 9-14. Please join us in study at 9:15 am.
- Please join us as we celebrate our 91st Church Anniversary on April 26th. We will have a luncheon immediately following morning worship @ the Doubletree hotel . Tickets are $25 for Adult and $10 for children twelve and under. There will be a representative in the fellowship hall after morning worship if you would like to purchase a ticket.
- Have you been checking your blood pressure twice a week and recording it on the Heart 360 website. If you need help with getting this done or if you need an alternative method of recording your blood pressure, please contact Rev. Barnette Emerson.
- Do you know your SHAPE? All DC members are encouraged to take the SHAPE class. There will be a class on May 9th, from 9-12 pm. You may sign up starting today Apr 19, Apr 26 and May 3rd. if you have any questions please contact Cathleen Caldwell or Terrance Deary @ DCSHAPE2015@gmail.com
- Congratulations and thanks, David Chapel members! You have contributed$ 2200 to Relay for Life East Austin. Today is the last day to make a contribution or sign up as a survivor and/or to walk. Your contribution can help us exceed last year’s fundraising total of $ 2600.00. Let’s help finish the Fight against Cancer!
- DC, It’s that time again! Join us for our annual church picnic hosted by the DCYA on Saturday, May 2nd form 1-4 pm. Each Ministry is asked to bring certain items.
- The FEW staff is looking for volunteers to serve in various positions during Family Enrichment Week, June 22nd-26th. Please stop by the table in the fellowship hall to sign up. Thanks for your support.
