- The new Sunday School theme is Distinct: Living Above the Norm, and the lesson for next Sunday is “Distinct in My Approach to Conflict.” The scripture reference is Matthew 5:21-26. David Chapel members and guests are invited to study with us each Sunday at 9:15 am.
- Today is the deadline for Affordable Healthcare registration, and you may pick up information brochures from the display case in the fellowship hall.
- Mission 1 will hold its first meeting of 2016 in the fellowship hall Monday, February 1, at 6 pm. We will continue our study of A Woman’s Right to Rest with lesson 9, “Resting in Caretaking.” Please bring your study guide and pass the word.
- MWFA t-shirts are available to purchase for $10 in the fellowship hall after worship today.
- Registration and payment for the Bone of My Bone Marriage Ministry Simulcast Conference, Friday and Saturday, February 12 and 13, will be in the fellowship hall after worship. The $34 cost covers you, your spouse, and a guest couple for both days. See the BOMB Ministry Leadership team for more information
- Church family, we are partnering with the Austin Fellowship of Christian Athletes to host our Community Movie Night to see Woodlawn, a movie about faith and sports, racial reconciliation, and community, on Saturday, February 13, from 7pm to 9:30pm here in the Sanctuary. Seating will begin at 6:30pm. We are asking everyone to get their free movie tickets for the event. You can request tickets at the ticket booth in the fellowship hall after morning worship or online at www.davidchapel.org/go/woodlawn.
- Study and connect with other women in 2016 by being part of the Women’s Enrichment Ministry’s Bible Study sessions. Community and Quadrant studies are Tuesdays at 11 am at David Chapel and 7 pm offsite in host homes. Register and purchase books in the fellowship hall through February 7. - The MWFA Ministry invites you to join Dr. James D. Abbington for the “Sing to the Rafters” workshop Saturday, February 27, 2016 at David Chapel. This workshop is hosted by Huston-Tillotson University, David Chapel, and Ebenezer.
