92nd Church Anniversary

We’re celebrating our 92nd anniversary with a weekend of events. We’d love to see you celebrate along with us.

FAMILY FUN NIGHT

Saturday, April 23, 2016
7:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.

Bring the family to David Chapel for a night of entertainment and refreshments! The headliner is the extraordinary comedienne Lady MoZan of Dallas. Lady MoZan was a feature act for Steve Harvey, Monique, and Dave Chappelle. She admits that although the altar hasn’t always been her stage, it has always been in her soul. Lady MoZan sees her Christian-based, family appropriate comedy as a mission to attract people from other religions to inform, entertain and convince them that her Lord and Savior is the answer and the way.

Also featured is Natori Blue, a gifted vocalist who has used her music to pursue her life-long goals of demonstrating the love of Christ and winning souls for Him. In 2010, she released her first single, “He Loves You,” establishing the foundational message for her pursuits. In September of 2011, her debut album entitled, “Long Live the King,” was recorded live and proved a life-altering experience for many in attendance.

Other performers include DC member and flutist Andrea Blount and Andi Galloway, spoken word artist from Diakanos Ministries.

Sign-up in the fellowship hall after each Sunday service leading up to the event. REGISTRATION IS MANDATORY and vital to the success of the event.

SUNDAY WORSHIP

Sunday, April 24, 2016

The special anniversary service theme is “A Church Celebrating God’s Grace and Favor through Generations” (Psalm 145:2; 2 Corinthians 6:1-2). Rev. Jack Gause, Pastor of St. Peter’s United Methodist Church in Austin, is the guest minister. Worship with us as we thank God for all he has done!
