- The Sunday School theme through May 22 is Beauty from Ashes: Redeeming Your Broken Moments. Next Sunday’s lesson is “Redeemed from Crippling Doubt,” and the scripture is Luke 1:11-20, 63-65. David Chapel members and guests are invited to join us in study each Sunday at 9:15 am.
- Special thanks this week from Sister Betty Overton for the thoughtfulness, kindness, and generosity shared with her before, during, and after her surgery.

- The Pulse, our monthly publication, has announcements from SWAG—Seniors With A Goal, the Young Adult Bible Study, the iAM Ministry, and lots of pictures from events and activities. Please check them out!
- Attention all Women of David Chapel. Nomination forms for the 2016 Woman of the Year will be available in the Fellowship Hall after service today. Women 62+ are eligible for the 2016 nomination. Please stop by the Fellowship hall and pick up a nomination form. The deadline for nominations is TODAY, May 1. Contact Sister Lois Hunt if you have questions.
- The F.E.W. Committee needs teachers for the nursery through adult plus volunteers in other areas. You may register your family as well. Interested persons, please stop by the F.E.W. table in the fellowship hall to sign up after worship. Contact Vedia Miles for more information.
- Senior Adult Ministry, aka, Platinum Plus is planning a megabus trip to San Antonio, May 21. Please sign up in the fellowship hall after worship, if you want to join them. More details provided at the table.
- The Austin Diaper Bank is sponsoring a diaper drive. Please donate diapers to give to babies, toddlers, and seniors throughout the month of May. Place them in designated boxes in the fellowship hall.
- Calling All iAM YOUTH and David Chapel Friends! Friday Night May 13, @ 7:00 pm – Saturday May 14 at 11 am . The iAM Ministry will be hosting a Youth Lock-In, Friday night, we will have games, food, and LIVELY discussions regarding today’s YOUTH and DISTRACTIONS. - Mission 1 will meet Monday, May 2, at 6 pm in the fellowship hall. We will discuss lesson 12, “Resting in Friendship.” from A Woman’s Right to Rest.
