- The Sunday school theme for July 17 – August 21 is Refinance: Ancient Wisdom for Modern Money Management, and the lesson for next Sunday is “Give Money Generously,” with Proverbs 11:23-29 as the scripture. David Chapel members and guests are invited to study with us each Sunday at 9:15 a. m.
- “Back by popular demand!” #TOGODEVERYONEMATTERS T-shirts. The MWFA ministry is accepting orders today and next week only. To place your t-shirt order, please see a MWFA team member in the fellowship hall after worship.
- David Chapel church family, thank you for the flowers, your prayers and support during our time of bereavement, the family of Sis. Marilyn Bridges Reed.
- DAVID CHAPEL TRAINING AND WORKSHOP. There is still time to register and join DC leaders, facilitators, and ministry staff members for a FREE training session on effective teaching and presentation tools. The training will be conducted by Rev. Keith Lowry with the Baptist General Convention of Texas (BGCT). Please check your email and respond to register and to ensure there are adequate training materials and accommodations. The training is scheduled for Wednesday, September 14, from 6:30-8:30 pm INSTEAD of prayer and Bible study. The deadline for registration is Wednesday, September 7. - Pastor and wife’s 40th Wedding Reception: David Chapel church family, please join Pastor and Mrs. Parker for a reception in the fellowship hall Sunday, August 21st following worship. There will be a special decorated box in the sanctuary each Sunday through the end of August for your congratulatory messages and cards.

- School Supplies are NEEDED. Please help students with school supplies for 2016-2017 by bringing donations during the month of August. Please place the donated items in the designated container in the fellowship hall.
- The Infant and Preschool Ministry is seeking donations throughout the month of August for the Ronald McDonald House to assist persons residing there during the illness of a family member. Items requested are not limited to: household, kitchen, bath, bedroom and miscellaneous. Please see the August Edition of the Pulse for a detailed list of items. Please place donated items in the designated box in the fellowship hall.
