- A SPECIAL FOCUS: “Love Gets Involved.” Next Sunday, August 28th; all adult classes will study in the sanctuary and all Sunday school teachers and workers are asked to be present for teachers and workers appreciation. David Chapel members and guests are invited to study with us at 9:15 am.
- “Back by popular demand!” #TOGODEVERYONEMATTERS T-shirts. The MWFA ministry is accepting orders today only. To place your t-shirt order, please see a MWFA team member in the fellowship hall after worship.
- THANK YOU! A very special thank you from the Sorrells’ Family Reunion for your support. Thank you Pastor Parker for blessing our family, Sis. Cedel Sorrells Evans.
- DAVID CHAPEL TRAINING AND WORKSHOP. There is still time to register and join DC leaders, facilitators, and ministry staff members for a FREE training session on effective teaching and presentation tools. The training will be conducted by Rev. Keith Lowry with the Baptist General Convention of Texas (BGCT). Please check your email and respond to register and to ensure there are adequate training materials and accommodations. The training is scheduled for Wednesday, September 14, from 6:30-8:30 pm INSTEAD of prayer and Bible study. The deadline for registration is Wednesday, September 7. - Congratulations Pastor and Mrs. Parker for 40 years! David Chapel church family and guests, please join us in celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary with a reception immediately following worship today in the fellowship hall. A special decorated box has been placed in the sanctuary each Sunday through the end of August for your congratulatory messages and cards.
- School Supplies are NEEDED. Please help students with school supplies for 2016-2017 by bringing donations during the month of August. Please place the donated items in the designated container in the fellowship hall.
- The Infant and Preschool Ministry is seeking donations throughout the month of August for the Ronald McDonald House to assist persons residing there during the illness of a family member. Items requested are not limited to: household, kitchen, bath, bedroom and miscellaneous. Please see the August Edition of the Pulse for a detailed list of items. Please place donated items in the designated box in the fellowship hall.
