Announcements for 4/2 – 4/9

1. The Sunday School lesson for April 8^th is “Victory Shared” (Luke 24:44-45). David Chapel members and guests are invited to study with us at 9:15 a.m.
2. David Chapel members and guests, please help us celebrate the April senior adult birthdays: Robert Emerson, Mary Caldwell, Leroy White, Lucelestine Dotson, Delores Hunter, Jo Ann Hosey, Albert Harvey, Gracie Turner, Suzanne Woodard, and Beatrice Hawkins.
3. Mission One will hold its regularly scheduled meeting and study, Monday, April 3^rd at 6:00 pm in the fellowship hall. Please make plans to attend.
4. Infant and Pre-School ministry is in need of volunteers on 2^nd and 4^th Sundays. Please see Parent Engagement Coordinators Anita Overton, Sylvia Nash or Shenise Ramdeen.
5. Are you a woman who has lost a spouse? Would you be interested in forming a support group? An interest meeting has been planned for Saturday, April 8th in rooms 4/ABC at 10:00 am. For further discussion and information, please contact Lillie Stevens or Suzanne Woodard.
6. The Infant and Preschool ministry hosts the annual Community Resurrection Egg hunt April 15^th form 11 am – 1 pm at the George Washington Carver museum (egg hunt is in parking behind museum). This event is FREE to the community for infant’s age one to those in fifth grade. This ministry is need of individually wrapped CANDY for the egg hunt through April 9th. Place your donated candy in the container in the fellowship hall. Please, NO chocolate candy. Thank you for your support!
7. For Senior Adults the Good Friday Service at the Frank Erwin Center, April 14^th at 6:00 pm (limited seating is available in the church van for those needing transportation). Also Seniors, make plans to attend the Painted Church Tour, Saturday, May 20^th. For more information see Ora McCormick. Details for the events are included in the April monthly PULSE publication.
8. David Chapel members and guests, you’re invited to help us celebrate the 93rd Church Anniversary for Sunday, April 23, 2017 at 10:30 am. Please join us for the annual church picnic, Saturday, April 22, 2017, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Givens Park. We look forward to seeing you there!
