Announcements for 6/11 – 6/17

  1. The Sunday school lesson for June 18th is “Respect Authority,” (1 Samuel 24:3-12). David Chapel members and guests are invited to study with us at 9:15 a.m.
    Pastor Parker and members, David Chapel received a thank you card from Sis. Marva Watrous; thanking you for your expression of kindness during her time of bereavement.
  2. Please join DC DIVAS as we partner with Family Elder Care in providing some relief from the Texas heat with the “Fan Drive.” You may help by donating a new fan or by donating $15 dollars to support this effort through June 25th. Please make checks payable to David Chapel. All donations are tax deductible. For more information, please see Jakki Dozier.
  3. Are you interested in playing volleyball with the DC Recreation Ministry? For more information, please see Calvin Zanders, Sydney Zanders, or Jordan Overton.
  4. Men of David Chapel, please remember to bring your five cases of bottled water for the Juneteenth parade and place them in the fellowship hall through June 16th. The office will be opened during business to drop off your donations of bottled water. DC men, your presence is needed in the fellowship hall after worship for your selection of the 2017 Man of the Year.
  5. The Marriage Enrichment Ministry’s group session and potluck will be held today following worship. For book purchase, please see any team members.
  6. Members and visitors, for additional announcements please view the DC monthly PULSE publication on the website at davidchapel.org. The Pulse is the primary vehicle for news, announcements, and publicity for upcoming events and initiatives in the church and community. Ministry leaders, please remember to check the online church calendar, weekly and regularly for new events and scheduling changes. Submit your announcement requests for inclusion in the PULSE by the third Sunday each month to communications@davidchapel.org.
