- Today’s altar flowers are giving in loving memory of Sis. Jolene Scott Hall by her sister, Nancy Johnson.
- Our Sunday school lesson for November 19th is “Hannah: Trust-Filled Prayer” (1 Samuel 1:9-11, 17-18, 26-28, 2:1-3). David Chapel members and guests are invited to study with us at 9:15 a.m.
- Pastor Parker and David Chapel members, the families of Deacon Ed & Barbara Guerra and Gracie Turner, sent thank you cards. “A heartfelt thank you to our David Chapel family for the expressions of love and sympathy during our time of bereavement.”

- David Chapel will again participate in the Angel Tree Ministry this holiday season. You may select a name tag beginning Sundays, November 12, 19, and 26th in the fellowship hall after worship.
- The young adult’s ministry social and mixer has been rescheduled. This event has been scheduled for Saturday, December 16th at 5:00 pm at the home of Bro. Albert and Sis. Jackie Hawkins. Please see Rev. Sutton for more information.
- Member and guests, if you ordered the book Harnessing the Power of Unity from our recent revival, please see Sis. Shaunda Cooper today in the fellowship hall after worship. Additional books are available for purchase.
- Attention all church leaders, associate ministers and deacons. You’re invited to attend the 4XFour Challenge Training by the BGCT, December 2nd at 10:00 am. A head count is required for materials and food, for those who will attend by November 26. Please check your email from Pastor Parker for more information.
- Members and guests, join us Thursday, November 16th from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm, for a discussion on The Future of the Black Church with keynote speaker Dr. Fredrick D. Haynes, III of Friendship-West Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas and a panel of Pastors and Community Leaders. This event will be moderated by Dr. Leonard Moore, VP of Diversity and Community Engagement at UT-Austin and hosted by David Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. Dinner will be served at 5:30 pm. Program begins at 6:30 pm.
