Announcements for 5/20 – 5/26

  1. The Sunday school lesson for May 27th is: “Keep Standing” (Esther 8:1-2). All adult classes will study combined in the sanctuary. Join us for study at 9:15 am.
  2. Pastor Parker and DC members please us welcome our newest members; Sterling Nash and Odis Evans.  We’re blessed you’ve joined us.
  3. The next Women’s Tuesday Bible study will be May 22nd. Members and guests, please join us for our new Bible study series with Pastor Parker, Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at 7:00 pm. All are welcome.
  4. The infant & preschool ministry hosts their annual diaper drive in collaboration with the Austin Diaper Bank.  Various size diapers are needed for babies to adults. Please place all diapers in the container in the fellowship hall.
  5. Join the David Chapel Divas as they partner with Family Eldercare in their 28th Annual Fan Drive to provide relief from life threatening heat for low-income seniors, adults with disabilities and families with young children Please purchase a 20 inch box fan or 12 inch or larger oscillating fan, or you may donate funds in increments of 15 dollars. Drop fans off at the church no later than June 29th.  Fans must be in the original package. For more information, please see Jakki Dozier.
  6. The iAM ministry will host a Young Adult Brunch next Sunday at 1:00 pm. PLEASE NOTE A LOCATION CHANGE: The brunch will be at the IRON CACTUS, 606 Trinity St.
  7. DC Parents of students & young adults; Parents, student write-ups of achievements are being accepted for inclusion in the student annual program.  The deadline to submit all accomplishments are due by June 15th, no exceptions. The CYYA annual weekend will be July 6-8, 2018. More information will be forthcoming.
  8. ATTENTION DC members; all submissions for the June Pulse  are due today. Please submit your announcement to communications@davidchapel.org.
