The Women’s Enrichment Ministry is sponsoring “Handbags for Hope” through April 5, for gently used or new handbags. For more information please see or contact Sis. Sherry Stowers.

D C Walking Disciples Team are still accepting donations for Relay For Life/East Austin on April 26th at Huston-Tillotson. Donations can be done online or each Sunday after service. The acceptable donations are cash/check/credit card, and the Luminaria, which means you purchase a bag ranging from $10-$20 in Memory of or in Honor of someone that has battled cancer. The Luminaria will be placed around the track at the event.

A free reception to celebrate Cancer Survivors and Caregivers will be held on Thursday April 25th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Mt Olive Baptist Church. Survivors are eligible for a free T-Shirt. The reception/registration rsvp deadline is April 15th. Attendees can also register at www.relayforlife.org/eastaustin. For more information or to donate, please see Sis. Join the Women’s Ministry DIVAS as we partner with Family Eldercare in their annual fan drive to provide relief from the threatening summer heat for low-income seniors, adults with disabilities and families with young children. Please purchase a 20 inch or larger box fan or donate 15 dollars. Fans must be in the original package. All donations are tax deductible. For more information, please see Jakki Dozier.

The St. John Regular Baptist Association Senior Mission will convene its annual Spring Banquet, Friday, April 5th at 7:00 p.m. at the Embassy Suites Hotel at 5901 IH-35. This year the recognition is: “Community Activities in Middle or High School.” David Chapel will have three honorees Elijah Jackson, Kyle Overton, and Robert Michael Pellette. Ticket are $50 and donations are gladly accepted.  Please see Sis. Judith Smith or any mission one member after worship today only. Your participation is very much needed and appreciated.

Attention all graduating students and parents of graduating students!  Please submit your graduation announcement information to the church office to ensure we can appropriately acknowledge you and during the student annual weekend in June.  Additionally, submit your graduation profile to Rev. Ryan Sutton or Sis. Graduating high school seniors, be sure to complete and submit your scholarship applications by 5:00 pm on Friday, April 19th!
